Grace Fernandes, of Bandra, Mumbai, travelled to Mexico with family in 1984. The significance of this trip would be felt 40 years later, in 2024.​​
Grace visited Guadalajara to trace her family name origin. Fernandes is also called Fernandez in Mexico. There she met Senor Julio Ramirez-Fernandez, who welcomed her like a long-lost sister from Goa. Senor Ramirez-Fernandez presented her with a bottle of Agave, made with his secret Fernandez family recipe Back home in Bandra, Grace replicated the drink with Indian spices Grace's drink was enjoyed by her family on special occasions, with a toast Viva-Agave! In 2024, at 83 years old, Grace passed on peacefully. Her daughter Suzann decided that everybody should enjoy this drink in her memory.​

Suzann christened it "Gracia"; it means Grace in Spanish. To appreciate Gracia, you must drink it like the Fernandes' do! Pour it into a sipping glass and savour its aroma. Let the vibrant notes of its flavour dance on your nose. The first sip feels velvety, followed by a delightful explosion on your tongue. Subsequent sips reveal more hidden flavours. Gracia is sensuous like the Spanish ancients like the Mexicans, and wonderfully mad like the Bandra-Goans! Say Viva-Agave and enjoy Gracia- the amazing Grace's fantabulous spirit!
Suzann homan
Suzann Homan, dynamic and multifaceted, whose unique blend of skills and passions brings an extraordinary combination of meticulous organization, proactive leadership, and creative flair to the table. In addition to being a highly accomplished lawyer, known for her sharplegal acumen and unwavering dedication, it’s her entrepreneurial spirit and inventive approach that truly set her apart. Whether orchestrating the legal intricacies of a case or crafting the perfect business strategy, Suzann consistently demonstrates a remarkable ability to excel in diverse arenas. Her interest vary from being one of the TwoBandraGirls, an organic farm situated at Maharashtra to owning an fast growing upmarket patisserie Sivako at Mumbai. Her commitment to excellence and innovation makes Suzann an invaluable
asset to Gracia.

Kiran Ullal is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of work experience in Sales and Distribution in the Insurance sector with a track record of delivering high performance. Having demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, and fostering a high-performance culture across the assignments that he has handled.
Adept at identifying market opportunities, analysing competitive landscapes, and leveraging data-driven insights to make informed decisions. A results-oriented professional with a track record of delivering exceptional sales outcomes in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

keith fernandes
Keith Fernandes’ work ethic is shaped by the maximum city. He spent his formative years In Mumbai and then his family moved to Goa to their ancestral property. Keith has worked with Pepsi, Bisleri, and JWT (at the time, India’s No. 1 advertising agency)
Simultaneously, Keith started off his own Events & Advertising company and organised the first ‘Battle of The Bands’ event, to promote live music. Today Slipdisc.in is Goa’s leading OOH advertising agency. with clients like Audi, Mercedes Benz, Sunburn, Tata, LIC, SBI, Pantaloons, Biba, Apple iPhone, Samsung, Harley Davidson to name a few.
Slipdisc just completed 25 years and Keith prides himself for still retaining some of the original employees.

Gracia Events
This is our First event, and a first of many to come.
​
We have tied up with the Slipdisc events’ Battle Franchise, in order to popularise our brand among youth, especially Bartenders. This is an annual event through which we hope to build a community around our brand- Gracia Viva Agave, and make it popular among the drinking, clubbing, partying crowd. As you know, we are India’s only Agave brand that comes in flavours.

10 finalists took part in our debut event. And the winners are : 1st Place- Rajesh (Blacksheep Bistro, Panaji) 2nd Place: Sandeep (Analogue, Anjuna) 3rd place (Joint winners): Sherwin (Petisco's) & Aniket (Second House). The 1st place winner took away a cool Rs 50,000/- in cash. 2nd place: 30,000/-. 3rd place Rs 15,000/- each.

We look forward to seeing more participants next year. And we are sure the ones who didn't win will have better luck next year!
We carry out regular tasting sessions at bars and clubs to gauge customer opinion regarding our brand. A select invitee list is made with a sprinkling of new drinkers and seasoned, discerning drinkers. Both sets of feedback are considered seriously. Several such tasting sessions done prior to formulating our flavours, actually helped us get the right mix of taste, aroma and spirit strength.
On the cards- a weekend Pop-up near our Headquarters, with good food and of course, Gracia cocktails. Enjoy a party and shop for drinks if you like. There will be music and dancing. These will be ticketed, exclusive events, only ‘Once-a-week’
the gracia pledge
In the memory of Grace Fernandes, who believed in sharing her knowledge, and her blessings, Suzann has pledged to give back to the community from the profits made with Gracia Viva Agave.
2% of profits from the sales of Gracia Viva Agave will be given towards ‘Elder Care’ as it is the need of the hour. ‘Giving back to community is firmly enshrined in the Gracia Viva Agave pledge. Because that is what Grace always did, and Gracia Viva Agave will carry on.’
